Games for Nintendo Wii / 2007 / Heatseeker

This is me taking on the skies with a F-18 on the spiritual sequel to IR Gurus' Heroes of the Pacific, Heatseeker!

Released on March 30 2007 in Europe, I will take another month to reach the US. But its well worth it, if you ever played and love Namco's Ace Combat series, you will fell right at home with this game.

I have played it with the motion sensing controls, but it was making the game almost impossible ate Ace difficulty, becuase if it was hard to control the plane while just crusing around, so when you have 8 figthers throwing bullets and missiles at your tale, I need precise and accurate controls, so I play this on Alternate Control Method 2, wich lets me control the plane with the Analogue Stick on the Nunchuk.

Impact Cam works and its amazingly well implememted, unlike Burnout's similar feature that I have always tuned off, since found to distract me from the gameplay. You can turn it off if it bother you here, as well.

I only have one regret, I have a feeling this game will "fly under the radar" (ha ha I made a aviation joke, silly me) due to it's modest marketing by Codemasters, but take my word for it, if you like arcade flight games, this one is curretly on top of that throne, regardless of those 75%ish overall scores it has been getting from the reviews.
